About Ukraine

Welcome to Friend of God Global Outreach in Ukraine! We’re grateful you’ve found us. Since 2004, Sergey Bykov and his wife, pastors since 2000, have led our FOG church in Kharkiv, prioritizing service to families, teenagers, and children. However, the devastating war that began in February 2022 drastically altered our mission. We relocated to Odessa, and almost all our church members scattered across the globe. Today, our focus has shifted to providing critical humanitarian aid to refugees and disadvantaged people. Amidst the ongoing challenges of war, we remain committed to serving Ukraine, offering hope and support in a time of immense need, and building a community where God’s love provides strength and belonging.

Our Work in Ukraine

At Friend of God Global Outreach (FOGGO) in Ukraine, our mission has been profoundly shaped by the ongoing war. While our roots lie in serving families, teenagers, and children in Kharkiv since 2004, the events of February 2022 necessitated a dramatic shift. We now dedicate ourselves to providing critical humanitarian aid to refugees and disadvantaged people, offering essential support in a time of immense need. Despite the challenges of displacement and scattering, our commitment to serving Ukraine remains steadfast. We strive to offer hope and build a community where God’s love provides strength and belonging. As Pastor Sergey Bykov states, “Amidst the devastation, we are committed to serving, offering hope and support in a time of immense need.” We are focused on providing practical help and spiritual comfort, building a community of resilience and faith, one act of compassion at a time.
